Team training terms.

Plain English terms for booking live Manager Capability Training for your organisation. They apply alongside our website terms and privacy notice. Version 1.1, November 2026.

1. Who we are

Live team training is provided by Tonia Obi, trading as Tee Obi ("we", "us"), a sole trader based at West Studios, Sheffield Road, Chesterfield S41 7LL, United Kingdom and a CPD Approved Provider with The CPD Group (provider number 789218). Contact us at hello@teeobi.com. "You" means the organisation booking the training.

2. What you are booking

A cohort of up to 10 managers ("delegates") taking part in Manager Capability Training delivered live on Microsoft Teams. Each booking includes:

  • a briefing call before the programme
  • one live training day on Microsoft Teams, from 9am to 5pm with a 30 minute lunch and two short breaks, or other times agreed in writing
  • online pre-work (modules 1 to 3) for each delegate to complete before the day
  • 12 months' access to the online Manager Capability Training and The Manager's House for each named delegate
  • a certificate and transcript for each delegate who passes the knowledge assessment and applied case study
  • a before and after confidence check, and a short report for your leadership team

A booking is confirmed when we send you written confirmation of the dates and price. These terms then form the agreement between us.

3. Price and payment

  • The price for one cohort of up to 10 delegates is £2,495. A launch price of £1,995 applies to bookings confirmed in writing by 31 March 2027, whatever the date of the training. For more than 10 delegates we will give you a written quote, and the quoted price applies.
  • We will send an invoice when your booking is confirmed. Payment is due by bank transfer within 14 days of the invoice date, and in any case before the training day.
  • If you need a purchase order number on the invoice, please give it to us before we invoice.
  • If payment has not been received before the training day, we may postpone the training until it is.

4. Delegates

  • Each cohort is for a maximum of 10 named delegates, so everyone can take part.
  • Please send us each delegate's name and work email at least 10 working days before the training day, so we can set up their online access and they have time for the pre-work.
  • You can swap a delegate for someone else at no cost before the training day. Online course places are personal to each named delegate and cannot be shared.

5. Changing or cancelling your booking

  • Rescheduling: you can move your date once at no cost if you tell us at least 10 working days before the training day. The new date must be within 3 months.
  • Cancelling more than 28 days before the training day: we will refund what you have paid in full.
  • Cancelling 14 to 28 days before the training day: 50% of the price is payable.
  • Cancelling less than 14 days before the training day, or on the day: the full price is payable. Delegates keep their online course access.
  • If a delegate misses the day, or part of it, it cannot be repeated, but they can catch up through the online course.

6. If we need to change something

If we cannot deliver the training day, for example because of illness, we will offer a new date as soon as possible at no extra cost. If no suitable date can be agreed, we will refund what you have paid for the training day. We are not responsible for other costs you incur because the day is moved.

7. Taking part on Microsoft Teams

  • Delegates need a computer with a camera, a microphone and a reliable internet connection. Cameras on is encouraged, so the practice works.
  • The training day is not recorded by us, and must not be recorded by you or the delegates, because managers discuss real workplace situations.
  • We expect everyone to treat each other with respect. We may ask a delegate to leave the day if their behaviour makes it unsafe or unfair for others.

8. Confidentiality

We keep confidential anything we learn about your organisation and your people through the training, and only use it to deliver the programme and your report. Delegates should not share names or details that identify individual employees when discussing real situations. Your leadership report gives themes, not what individual delegates said.

9. Data protection

We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office. We use delegates' names and work emails to give them course access, issue certificates and deliver the programme, as explained in our privacy notice. Please make sure your delegates know you are sharing their details with us for this purpose.

10. Training materials

All training materials, the online course and The Manager's House remain ours. Delegates can use them, and the templates, within your organisation. They cannot be shared outside your organisation, resold or used to train others.

11. Information, not legal advice

The training gives general information about UK employment law and good practice, current at the time of delivery. It is not legal advice about any individual situation. For a specific case, take advice from your HR adviser, Acas or an employment lawyer.

12. Our liability

We will deliver the training with reasonable care and skill. Our total liability to you for anything arising from a booking is limited to the price you paid for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

13. Referral thank you

If someone introduces your organisation to us, and you book and pay for live team training, we may pay them a thank you of 5% of the fee you pay for each cohort booked. This does not change your price.

14. Complaints

If you are unhappy with anything, please email hello@teeobi.com. We will reply within 10 working days and try to put things right.

15. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute.
